“Alchemy of Souls” has unveiled an intriguing new poster for Season 2!

Penned by the famous screenwriting duo known as the Hong Sisters, “Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romance drama set in the fictional nation of Daeho, a country that does not exist in history or on maps. The drama tells the story of characters whose fates become twisted due to magic that swaps people’s souls.

Part 1 of “Alchemy of Souls” aired from June 18 to August 28, recording its highest average nationwide viewership rating of 9.3 percent. Part 2 of “Alchemy of Souls” consists of 10 episodes and will detail what takes place three years after Jang Wook (Lee Jae Wook) returns from the brink of the death. Instead of Jung So Min, who plays Mu Deok in Part 1, the female lead of Season 2 will be Go Yoon Jung as Nak Soo.

Ahead of Part 2, tvN has released a new teaser poster that captures two people’s hands. The touching photo shows two hands gently and cautiously intertwined as the sun shines in from behind them.

A key factor of this poster is the red jade and blue jade being in the same frame, as these yin and yang jades symbolize the love that Jang Wook has shared with his soulmate. The more danger these two experience together, the deeper their feelings for each other become, and the more these jades shine. Stay tuned to see what kind of fateful encounters arise through these jades.

Part 2 of “Alchemy of Souls” premieres on December 10 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
