Chen Dao Ming is a Chinese actor known as the Emperor of Chinese TV series, having starred in all types of TV series and films.

Chen Dao Ming is a veteran award-winning Chinese actor and producer. He made his acting debut in the 1982 film “There's a Blizzard Tonight” and then won his first Best Actor award for his role in the 1984 television drama “The Last Emperor.” After a few years hiatus, Chen Dao Ming made a high-profile guest appearance in the 2017 television drama “The First Half of My Life.”

Chen has won numerous awards and honors including the 1989 Winner Feitian Television Award Outstanding Actor. In 1991 he was Winner Feitian Television Award Outstanding Actor; Winner Gold Panda Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series and Winner Golden Phoenix Award Male Actor. Among his other awards he was recognized at the 2019 Huading Award Winner National Top 10 TV Actor.

In 1982, Chen married Du Xian, a former news anchor from China Central Television who was forced to resign for expressing sympathy (dressing in black and speaking slowly) when she reported the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 on 4 June 1989. Their daughter was born in 1985.
