MBC has dropped a fun-filled new behind-the-scenes video for Episode 4 of “The Forbidden Marriage”!

Based on the web novel of the same name, “The Forbidden Marriage” is a new drama starring Kim Young Dae as King Yi Heon, who falls deep into despair after the death of his wife and ends up prohibiting marriage in his kingdom. Seven years after the loss of his wife (played by IZ*ONE‘s Kim Min Ju), who was then the crown princess, he comes across a con artist named So Rang (Park Ju Hyun) who claims that she can be possessed by the late princess’s spirit.

The newest behind-the-scenes video features Park Ju Hyun and Kim Woo Seok filming lots of different scenes, including a chase scene that involved Park Ju Hyun and Kim Woo Seok pursuing Hong Si Young on horseback. While going over the scene before filming, Park Ju Hyun worried with a laugh, “But [Hong Si Young] is a slow runner.” However, when it came time to film, it was actually Park Ju Hyun’s horse that ended up being too slow to keep up with Hong Si Young.

Park Ju Hyun and Kim Woo Seok then moved on to a scene where their characters were practicing sword fighting, and they braved the heat of the day to get the perfect shot for their somewhat romantic scene. The two actors remained in good spirits throughout filming, and seeing the difference between their chemistry on- and off-camera is fun and refreshing.
