Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi share lots of sweet moments in a new behind-the-scenes video for “Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2”!

Based on the novel of the same name, “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” is a tvN drama starring Kim Min Jae as Yoo Se Poong, a well-known internal medicine doctor who was expelled from the royal court after getting caught up in a conspiracy. In Season 1, he embarked on a mission to become a true doctor who heals the heart after meeting Seo Eun Woo (Kim Hyang Gi) and Gye Ji Han (Kim Sang Kyung) in the strange and beautiful village of Gyesu.

The newly released behind-the-scenes video focuses on the drama’s exciting and heart-fluttering moments between Yoo Se Poong and Seo Eun Woo, with Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi showing off their amazing chemistry both on- and off-screen.

The scenes featured cover a whole spectrum of emotions: from promising to stay by each other’s sides to an emotional parting, as well as some funny and sweet scenes, Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi seem to experience every possible situation together. When filming, the two are professionals in expressing their characters’ affection for one another, and seeing Kim Hyang Gi cry on screen is enough to make anyone’s heart hurt a little.

Off-screen, the two are a lot more playful, and there are plenty of scenes where Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi just can’t hold in their laughter. In one moment, when their hug lasts way longer than is probably normal before the director calls “Cut!”, they have a hard time keeping a straight face as they hold each other close.
