Netflix’s upcoming “womance” drama has dropped a new teaser and poster!
“Queenmaker” tells the story of two women who used to lead starkly different lives but leave everything they know behind to combine forces and create a just and truthful world.
Kim Hee Ae will take on the role of Hwang Do Hee, a skilled career woman who hasn’t stepped down from her 12 centimeter (approximately 4.7 inch) high stilettos for the past 12 years. She’s the best in her field of President Identity (PI) consulting and is the leader of the Corporate Strategy Team at Eunsung Group, the third best domestic business.
Moon So Ri will portray Oh Kyung Sook, a labor rights lawyer nicknamed Ms. Rhino. For the past 20 years, Oh Seung Sook has plowed through like a “rhino’s horn” for common people and workers and is a self-proclaimed Korean Lady of Justice.
The newly released poster features the two ladies in contrasting atmospheres. Hwang Do Hee exudes a calm yet strong aura, whereas Oh Kyung Sook has an intense and challenging look.
In the teaser, the genius President Identity (PI) consultant Hwang Do Hee and the human rights lawyer Oh Kyung Sook hold hands together for the upcoming Seoul mayoral election. Hwang Do Hee, who recognized Oh Kyung Sook’s abilities to create dramatic moments and straightforward and irrefutable comments, takes the lead as the general manager of the election camp to make Oh Kyung Sook a “queen” over other skillful candidates.
