Watch: Im Soo Hyang Has An Unexpected Response To Shin Dong Wook’s Proposal In “Woori The Virgin” Teaser

SBS’s upcoming drama “Woori the Virgin” shared a new teaser!

“Woori the Virgin” (previously also known as “Starting Today, We”) is a Korean remake of the American rom-com “Jane the Virgin,” which is based on a Venezuelan telenovela. The drama is about a woman named Oh Woo Ri (Im Soo Hyang) who is strictly maintaining her chastity before marriage but ends up pregnant after an accident occurs during a medical exam.

The newly released teaser begins with Oh Woo Ri unintentionally catching a bouquet at a friend’s wedding. Oh Woo Ri’s mother Oh Eun Ran (Hong Eun Hee) and grandmother Seo Gwi Nyeo (Yun Woon Kyung) state, “Looks like you have to get married within six moths.”

Assistant screenwriter Oh Woo Ri resolves, “I’m a writer! I don’t want to lose focus in my life,” as she struggles to succeed in her career and lead an independent life. However, reality proves to be different when she only gets yelled at with someone screaming at her, “Are you crazy?”

The atmosphere of the teaser turns sweet with the appearance of Oh Woo Ri’s boyfriend Lee Kang Jae (Shin Dong Wook). They appear to share heart-fluttering moments together like any other happy couple, but Oh Woo Ri confesses, “Why can’t I make up my mind about getting married to Kang Jae?” raising questions about their relationship. The text on screen reads, “A twist of fate has begun!”

Amidst a holy atmosphere, Lee Kang Jae gets on his knee to propose his love to Oh Woo Ri. However, despite having promised chastity before marriage, Oh Woo Ri shockingly confesses, “I’m pregnant.” Looking dazed, Lee Kang Jae asks, “With whose child?” The screen flashes to cosmetics company CEO Raphael (Sung Hoon) who is enjoying himself at a crowded party.
