Kim Go Eun talked about her experience of going through a slump.

In the latest episode of tvN’s You Quiz on the Block named “My Own World,” Kim Go Eun added much to the occasion and shared meaningful conversation with the hosts.

In this episode, host Yoo Jae Seok asked the actress, “I heard you’ve been through a slump after starring tvN’s Guardian: The Lonely and Great God?”

Kim Go Eun replied, “Although the drama did very well, I had hit a slump with no special reasons.” She added, “I think it’s because I’ve been too harsh on myself.”

In addition, Kim Go Eun confessed, “Dramas need to be done in collaboration of many staff and actors. But, it was so hard for me to be around and meet people.” She added, “Then I asked myself, ‘are you going to take a break after every time you finish a drama?'”

Kim Go Eun explained the film she met amidst the frustration was Sunset in My Hometown (2017), and by starring in the work with Park Jung Min, she said she was able to escape the slump. She remarked, “Park Jung Min helped a lot when we were filming Sunset in My Hometown. I felt less pressured because I played a supporting role to Park Jung Min. I gained peace of mind through working with him.”
